La pasada semana constituimos en la agrupación provincial del PSOE de Granada el Foro Socialista de Política Migratoria y Cooperación de Granada. Este Foro de debate es uno de los objetivos que me había trazado como responsable de la Secretaría de Política Migratoria de la Comisión Ejecutiva Provincial de Granada. Tiene como objetivo crear un espacio de análisis de la realidad de la población migrante en nuestra provincia, así como de debate y propuesta para abordar el fenómeno de la inmigración, la emigración y el retorno de nuestros emigrantes. Nos planteamos igualmente abordar las causas que originan los movimientos migratorios, particularmente la situación de extrema pobreza de los países de origen que obliga a las personas a abandonar su tierra; entendemos por tanto que la cooperación al desarrollo con estos países de origen es absolutamente necesaria. Se constituirán cuatro grupos de trabajo:
1.- Cooperación al desarrollo
2.-Emigración y retorno.
3.-Políticas de Integración.
4.-Inmigración:empleo y protección social.
El Foro es abierto y está integrado por representantes de movimientos sociales de personas inmigrantes, emigrantes y ONGs de desarrollo, así como responsables políticos y orgánicos del psoe, militantes y simpatizantes.
Uno de los primeros temas a debatir será el proyecto de Ley sobre Derechos y Libertades de los Extranjeros en España y su Integración Social, aprobado hoy por el Consejo de Ministros. El Gobierno ha considerado la reforma de la Ley de Extranjería como un soporte imprescindible para desarrollar la política sostenible, integral e integradora para nuestro País, cuyos objetivos pasan por la garantía de los derechos fundamentales, el perfeccionamiento del sistema de inmigración legal y ordenada y el desarrollo de las políticas de integración social.

Querida Ma. José me parece buena la idea aunque veo complicado el tema con la crisis. Por lo menos que tengamos un espacio de reflexión y de propuestas.
